Angry? No! God Is Not Angry With You.

   Part 2

Jesus said......“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”...... Matthew 11 vs 28-30

Hence, when Jesus said, He is the Son of God, displaying some godly, pious and solemn attitude would not be too much to ask of Him. This young man claimed to be the Son of God; and He was far from all a pious person should be like, looks like and does like. The Pharisees could not wrap their heads around His ways of life. Perhaps if they had observed Him with their heart they could have seen Him for who He really said He is!

The day He declared Himself the Son of God, They thought He crazy? Son of God? Look at Him, look at His friends, He visits awkward places, says weird things, and often breaks the law, especially the Sabbath! Where on earth is He from? God your Father? Not in a million years! More so, Jesus did not preach the norm of the day......eye for an eye kind of preaching, tooth for a tooth. Your enemy hates you, kill him or their kind of doctrine. Instead He preached mercy, He preached grace and He preached love.

 Jesus was concerned about the people’s state of mind, their helplessness and hopelessness to which the Pharisees have no answers but judgement. He was concerned about their understanding of God the Father.

The sight of the Pharisees magnify their sins; moreover the judgement they preached scared the living day light out of the sinners and drives them farther away from God. But the teaching of mercy and grace draw them from every direction! They discovered with Jesus they stand a chance with God. The simple gospel of God loves them as they are, warms up their hearts and lights up their faces brightens their countenance.

If you have not noticed,  you will observe and see how religion paints the ways of God as hard and the religious people as hard core! Look at them closely and you will notice they are creepy and frustrating. Religious folks do not ever seem to please God. They always watch their backs! God might strike them any time! No wonder many people do not want to come to God. To many, God’s ways are HARD..... All thanks to religion! So should you be wondering what Jesus did with her, here is the response of Jesus from the bible;

 Gospel of John 8 vs 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”11 She said, “No one, Lord.

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Is Jesus not Wonderful? He did not condemn the woman and neither is He is going to Condemn you too! God is not angry with you.
