                            If You Can Think It!

Things you think about play major role in your life. In fact your thoughts can shape your life. When all you think about is depressing, you are very likely to have a negative atmosphere around you where nothing works. The power of thought can not be underestimated, it can create a strong hold in your life, forming the basis of what you believe and live by; depending on whatever you think on. Choose what you think about and be conscious of your thought pattern. I know you can find it difficult at first when begin to take note of your thoughts because you are use to letting your thoughts run riots.

Therefore, when you start to put check on the things you think about, you feel restricted and strained yourself.

But if you could allow yourself to think the right thoughts you will be amazed at the way changes will reel off in your life.

If you are struggling with any kind of sickness now, and you have tried all things possible yet nothing has happened, you can start to think of being well again, you can so dwell on it for as long as it takes.

Right on that sick bed, wheel chair, anything, you can think on what you will do when you are well again, places you will visit, people you will see and the great life ahead of you. If you have children think on how you will spend your well time with them. How you will show love to your spouse and the people in your life. If you would start to think on being well and whole in your mind, it will translate into your reality. Your new thoughts will produce the strength you need to get well soon. I will not call it a positive thinking exercise, I will rather call it the power of imagining. Let me share with you the story of a certain woman in the bible who was diseased with the issue of blood for twelve years and how her thought liberated her.

This woman was said to have spent all she had to get well, visiting physicians who left her worse off. The issue of blood is the non stop of menstrual cycle. She suffered this non stop bleeding for twelve long years; until she heard about Jesus. Due to the fact that women are regarded unclean during their menstrual period in Israel, this woman was unclean for twelve years and would have to avoid contact with other people. Her condition confined her and really restricted her getting close to people, according to the law. Whosoever touched her would be unclean.

There is limit to what everyone can take I suppose; which must have been why this woman after considering the things she must have heard about Jesus started to think of how she could get healed without a body contact with Jesus. Her thought must have been so intense that she figured touching the hem of Jesus' garment will get the job done, and it sure did! Right in the midst of the crowd pressing on Jesus, this woman got the chance to touch the hem of Jesus' garment she came behind Him and behold she was healed read the text and believe, this same Jesus is still alive today .....Book of Mark 5 vs 25-34.

25 A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. 26 She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28 For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.

30 Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?”

31 His disciples said to him, “Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’”

32 But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

The faith of this woman caught Jesus' attention and note that Jesus did not rebuke her for touching His garment despite the fact that she was not suppose to touch anyone according to the law. Yet, Jesus looked past her offence because of her faith that came through for her as a result of her thought. Can you dare to think yourself well again? There is no harm in dreaming, thinking and imagining a healthy you.

It is not impossible, that woman thought of getting healed by touching the hem of Jesus garment, and was healed. You too can think of Jesus touching you and He will....
